Ad Libitum Vins logo

Ad Libitum Vins aims to bring authentic wines from France, that are difficult to find in the Netherlands, to fine wine enthusiasts. Each wine is carefully selected, after visiting the domain, getting to know the vignerons and trying their product, in order to ensure a quality bottle. The idea is also to give more visibility to small-scale producers who make exceptional products, by updating the catalog so you can keep discovering talented winemakers.

Having grown up in the Vallée du Rhône, I was exposed to great wines early on and quickly developed a passion for it. Wine was always a center piece of the family dinners, not just as part of the menu but also as part of our conversations. This is why I wanted to start this project, after 5 years living in the Netherlands and immersing myself in the culture, I noticed that I liked sharing mine, and that people liked drinking it.

I travel to various wine regions of France to find and meet passionate winemakers and learn about what makes their craft unique. Then, with the help of my team, I do whatever I can to bring it in an authentic and unforgettable wine experience for our customers.

Cloé Barjon

I'm a French Sommelier, graduated from the well-known school of Tain l'Hermitage (Wine and Spirit Education), with a WSET 2, an international wine diploma.

My role is to scout for hidden talented winemakers in my home region; as well as selecting the best wines, give you colourful descriptions of them  and tell you how to best enjoy these fine bottles, by suggesting pairing or even moments to open them.

I’m looking forward to make you discover and appreciate various wines from small vignerons of the Rhone Valley!
